AFFIRMATION OF
FAITH
What an Affirmation Is
An Affirmation of Faith IS a set of Christian beliefs based on scripture that define what we believe and teach as a body of Christian believers.

What an Affirmation is Not
An Affirmation of Faith IS NOT a replacement of scripture it is simply a summary of scriptural truth’s that we are called to adhere to in this church.

Why do we need an affirmation of faith?
With the changing tides of some modern Churches conforming to worldly standards it is necessary for us to know what we believe, know why we believe it and then be able to share it with confidence to others.

We Need An Affirmation of Faith because it:

-
Establishes the basic belief system of our church.
-
Preserves the gospel message by affirming key doctrinal statements that hold true and consistent with the Word of God.
-
Maintains unity by eliminating doctrinal conflict within the church through having an established set of cohesive beliefs and practices.
-
Protects the future of the church. When it is stated on a regular basis during worship service the affirmation is being passed along to future generations to come.
-
Summarizes our church’s position on key doctrinal subjects so new and potential members will know what we believe when considering to join our church.
